RFID inventory sessions
Ledger Mobile lets you choose S0, S1, S2 or S3 for each RFID workflow. The default is S1 for Create, Allocate and Return, and S2 for Inventory. Your saved choice may differ from the default.
To change a session for one workflow, open that workflow's scan options and select the RFID session before scanning. The Return scan options screen shows the four choices. To set sessions by mode, open Reader Settings, expand the advanced settings and use RFID Session by Mode.
If a reader finds most items but struggles with the last few, check the session as well as the tag position and reader angle. Changing the session affects how tags participate in the reader's inventory rounds; changing scanner power affects read range. For an explanation of the sessions and the garment-rack example, see the RFID singulation guide.
Scanner Strength Settings
Navigate to Reader Settings and Mode Power. (Organisation Restricted) Set all values to 0 dBm. This does not mean it will stop scanning, but the signal strength is small enough for other RFID chips not to get scanned without meaning to.
